We have a really nice set of vintage tufted chairs with carved wood frames in the shop. The wood frame on both chairs was recently completely reglued and restained, so they are extremely sturdy and have a beautiful finish. The black Naugahyde upholstery is in excellent shape with button tufting on the seat back. These chairs would work well with an Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Mid Century, eclectic, French industrial or Anthropologie style decorating scheme.
These chairs are really pretty as is but if black isn't your color we can reupholster them for you. A few of the options we talked about were a peacock blue, navy or emerald green velvet. Plaid wool would give them the equestrian Ralph Lauren look and even burlap would look amazing on these chairs! Let us know if you'd like an upholstery quote.
