These great old cabinets were probably once upper cabinetry in a Texaco gas station. The handles are made of a bakelite type material, not metal, so we are guessing they are from the Mid Century sometime 1950's or 60's. Each cabinet has three adjustable shelves and a place to store paperwork inside the doors. They both have some light rust and wear which gives them a lot of character. These cabinets would look great mounted on a wall again but they are also a good size and height to stay on the floor. Some ideas we had for them were to house a small flat screen tv, bathroom, clothes, toys or shop storage.
